First Friends

For older adults retired and not so retired!

First Friends is our church’s vibrant ministry for older adults. Activities planned target our almost retired, just retired, and considerably retired members and friends. The ministry goal for First Friends is “to focus on the spiritual and social needs of our senior adult members, and to connect the senior adults with one and other and with the church family for fellowship, service and personal growth.”  We recognize that older adults approach the later years in a variety of ways, and we seek to be sensitive to the broad range of activities that might be appropriate in this ministry.

Upcoming Events:

First Friends Sunday Lunch at Kay Bob’s – August 20, 12:00 p.m. – RSVP August 18
First Friends Day Trip to Parthenon – August 23, 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. – RSVP August 21
(Parthenon tour cost is $4, followed by lunch at Monell’s in Germantown, which costs $13.95.)
